‘Ik vind de stage het allerleukst aan TMO, omdat alle kennis die je hebt opgedaan op school dan daadwerkelijk wordt toegepast in de praktijk. Je merkt als TMO’er dat je niet als stagiaire bekeken wordt, maar echt onderdeel van het team bent. Ik ga stage lopen op de development afdeling van een productiebedrijf: Ningbo bv in Amsterdam. Het bedrijf heeft ook een kantoor in China! Ik krijg de verantwoordelijkheid over de afdeling waar ik stage ga lopen. Daarnaast zal ik veel contact hebben met China en mezelf bezighouden met duurzaamheid. Ik hoop zo eventuele verbeterpunten te spotten in de productie. Ningo bv heeft ook een inkoopafdeling waar ik mag meedraaien.

Ik wilde tijdens mijn TMO-tijd helemaal niets doen in de productie, maar nu ben ik juist erg blij met mijn keuze. Ik zag mezelf eerder werkzaam in E-commerce. Maar toen ik me er beter in ging verdiepen, kwam ik erachter dat ik de productiekant juist wél leuk vind. Bovendien spreek ik ook Turks en dat is mega handig in de productiewereld. Toen ik op bezoek was bij Ningbo bv voelde ik me direct thuis en dat is heel belangrijk. Ik kan haast niet wachten tot mijn stage begint!’
